Last saturday saw our first Wedding of 2021, officially a Covid 21 wedding, intimate and very beautiful.  It  took place at the Abbey Barn in Yeovil which is a lovely historic  local venue licensed for civil partnership and wedding ceremonies.  Our beautiful bride Sophie was given away by her lovely Mum Sue and the sun shone for Sophie, her four bridesmaids, dressed in sage green, flower girls in ivory and best lady in deep green.   It was a little breezy however and quite the emotionally charged day as Sophie and Adam's wedding plans  had postponed twice during lockdown and they finally decided they just wanted to marry and could wait no longer.   With a swift venue change it all went ahead - at last! Sophie chose a full, forward facing trailing bouquet full with fragrant wedding roses, hanoi ranunculus, larkspur, stocks, sprigs of lily of the valley, soft green variegated foliage and acres of trailing satin ribbons in ivory and blush.  Sophie very sadly lost her lovely Dad a few years ago and Sue, her devoted husband.  But he was absolutely present on the day, in spirit and with his photograph pinned to Sophies bouquet along with some beautiful meaningful charms hand chosen by Sue.

The bridesmaids carried posies of roses, ranunculus, stocks and foliage with trailing ivory satin ribbons.  Flower Girls carried wands in ivory satin with spray rose and foliage decor  and trailing ribbons. A beautiful local wedding to kick start the season - we are so looking forward to those booked for May and from June its all back to normal! We can't wait ....
